Obituary of John-Joseph McDonnell

McDONNELL, John Joseph Peacefully at The Winchester and District Memorial Hospital, on Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004, at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband for 66 years of Katherine Stewart and dear father of Kay (Bob Tutt) and Joanne (Glen Carroll). Will be missed by sisters Kathleen English and Carmel Foley and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Timothy McDonnell and Hannah Esson of Douglasfield, New Brunswick and brothers Edmund and Tim. Private cremation. At John's request there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a Memorial Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2718 8th Line Road, Metcalfe, on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 1:00 pm. Inurnment will take place at his home parish of St. Patrick's, Miramichi, New Brunswick at a later date. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Winchester and District Memorial Hospital.
