KIRBY, John S., FIIC, Insurance Broker Kirby & Masson Insurance Limited, formerly Kirby & Clark Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, August 30, 2008, aged 82 years, John Stotesbury Kirby. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Rooke). Dear father of Terry (Barbara Drew), Valerie (Rick Day), Marthe (Ernie Kowalyk), Elisabeth (Bob Lister), Sharon (Marc Lacasse), Harris (Lorraine) and Scott (Anne). Loving Baba (grandfather) of Devon (Darryl) and Joanna (Mike); Laura (Anthony) and Jennifer; Jennifer (Gary), Anthony and Terra; Jason and Amy (Joe); Marc (Sonia), Jacqueline and Paul; Nathan and Hannah; Stephen, Christopher and Heather. Great grandfather of Maggie and Owen; Nattasha; Alexandria; and Kirby. Predeceased by his first wife Betty (nee Harris), his second wife, Dot (nee Wood), his sister Elizabeth (Libe) and parents Cicely and John D. Kirby. Grateful thanks for the care given at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus, especially Dr. Khadija Bhimji and Nurse Christine Welsh of the Palliative Care Team.
