Obituary of John-Maxwell Mathews

Mr. John Maxwell (Max) Mathews January 18, 1921 - November 22, 2008 - Born January 18, 1921, Max passed away peacefully on November 22, 2008 in Richmond General Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife of 30 years Elinor, He will be lovingly remembered by sons Glenn (Tina) and Gordon (Maggie) and grandchildren Denise, Mark, Wesley, Blake and Reid. Max served as a radioman with the Westminster Regiment in World War II and was wounded in Italy. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Monday December 1 at the Richmond Funeral Home, 8420 Cambie Rd., Richmond, BC.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission.
