John A. Wallace 1923 - 2011 SPRINGFIELD - John A. Wallace, 88 was peacefully called home on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center. He is survived by two daughters, Pastor Joan Lee (Wallace) Burston, of Spfld., Jackie Othella Wallace Charlotte, N.C., his 2 sons Larry Serrette of Charlotte, N.C and Anthony Slocumb, Spfld., MA., as well as a legacy of 11 grandchildren, 20 great grand children, 4 great-great grand children, and a host of nieces, and nephews. The Wake and Homegoing Service will be held Friday, October 21, 2011, at Henderson Funeral Home, 52 Hancock St. Spfld. A Viewing will be held 11A.M. to 12PM, followed by the Homegoing Service at 12:00 P.M. Burial is at Oak Grove Cemetery. Services entrusted to the Henderson Funeral Home.
