Obituary of Jean-Pierre Cantin

AVIS DE DÉCÈS JEAN-PIERRE CANTIN est décédé paisiblement le vendredi 22 août 2008, à l'âge de 66 ans. Jean-Pierre était le père aimant de Chantal (Sherif Karama) de Montréal et d'Alexandre (Loth Oca) de Gatineau. Il sera profondément regretté par son ex-épouse Lise Trépanier, sa chère amie Barbara Fanning et plusieurs parents et amis. Une rencontre aura lieu le dimanche 31 août 2008 à 11h à la Maison Funéraire Whelan, 515 rue Cooper (entre Bay et Lyon), Ottawa, Ontario, K1R 5J1, pour pour célébrer la vie de Jean-Pierre. Le tout sera suivi d'un goûter. Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur ou à la Société canadienne du cancer seraient grandement appréciés par la famille. Jean Pierre was the loving father of Chantal (Sherif Karama) of Montreal and Alexandre (Loth Oca) of Gatineau. He will be dearly missed by his former wife Lise Trepanier, dear friend Barbara Fanning, and many dear friends and relatives. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Sunday August 31, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper Street (between Bay & Lyon), Ottawa ON K1R 5J1, to celebrate Jean Pierre's life. A time of refreshment and fellowship will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
