Obituary of James-McGregor Aitken

AITKEN, James McGregor - Peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. “Jimmy“ was much loved by Pauline (McNiece), his wife of 50 years. He will be sadly missed by son Jim and wife Maureen and daughter Karen and husband Matt Morley. Adored “Papa“ of grandchildren, Gillian, Casey and Steven. Reunited and telling stories again with 1st grandchild Daniel (Danny 1999). Born in Glasgow, Scotland to Danny and Ruby (Ogg) on January 17, 1938, he is also missed by brother Alec and sisters Nancy and Danella. Jimmy was proud to be a baker and was manager for many years at Busy Bee and Loblaws. He was honourary member of the St. Catharines Scottish Club and an avid golfer and gifted artist. At Dad's request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, non-perishable food items or donations to R.A.F.T. would be appreciated by the family.
