Obituary of J. -E. -Orlean-Johnston Shaver


(nee Johnston) Called to her eternal home at Glengary Memorial Hospital on May 1, 2002 in her 91st year. A resident of Maxville Manor; Lifetime resident of the Chesterville area; Graduate of B.G.H. School of Nursing, Class of '34; Member of Trinity United Church; Life Member of Trinity United W.A., Chesterville Women's Institute and of Success Chapter No. 30 O.E.S. Ottawa. Memories cherished by husband H. Fay for 65+ years of love and companionship; daughter Beverley (Blake) Feeley; grandchildren James (Marion) Feeley of Russell and Kristina Feeley of Horn, Switzerland; great-grandchildren Jennifer, Melissa and Emily Feeley. Predeceased by brothers Wilson Johnston, Emerson Johnston and sister Lillian (Walter) Arden. As requested by the deceased there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Chesterville Funeral Home, 62 Queen Street, Chesterville where a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for her cherished life will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of her ashes in Maple Ridge Cemetery and a reception will follow. In lieu of memorial flowers, donations to the Maxville Manor, Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice gratefully appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, 03-05-2002
