Irénée Allain 1923-2003 BOUCTOUCHE, NB-Irénée Allain, 79,of Bouctouche, husband of Fernande (Maillet) Allain, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB Thursday, March 13, 2003. He was a son of the late Vitaline (Allain) LeBreton. Irénée was employed as a laborer for Irving Co. and repaired sewing machines. He was a member the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche and a member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus, also a member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club and the Cursillo movement and was very much implicated in his church. He is survived by his wife Fernande of 47 years; three daughters, Aline Allain-Doiron (Ronald) of Miramichi, Sr. Hélène Allain, NDSC of Moncton, Anne Allain of Memramcook: six sons, René (Charlotte) of Orléan, ON, Robert (Theresa) of Bouctouche, Roger (Myriam) of Lévi, PQ, Roméo (Michelle) of Notre-Dame, Renald (Irène), Réal (Nicole) both of Dieppe, and one sister, Oniva Vienneau of Bouctouche; 21 grandchildren and two nephews, Adélard and Alfred. Irénée was predeceased by one brother, Jim. Visitation will be held at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche on Sunday, March 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45. Funeral service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche,Monday, March 17, 2003 at 7:00pm. Internment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
