Obituary of Irene-Marie Mainville

NAULT-GAGNON, Irène Marie (née Mainville) The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Daughter of Oscar and Roseanna Mainville (née Bodson). Wife of the late Albert Nault, predeceased in 1967 and of Jean Paul Gagnon predeceased in 1999. Loving mother of Estelle (Arly Mathiasen) of Dowling, Gabrielle (Udo Winter) of New Hamburg, Marcel (Lise Lauzon) and Louise (Armand Cardinal) both of Val Caron, Urgel (Linda Burton) of Chelmsford, Michel (Francine Merangère) of Buckingham, Québec, Emmanuel (Angie Soupionis) of St. Catharines and Léonel (Lynn Fournier) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her sons Daniel and Louis and by her daughter Angélique. Dear sister of Aurel (late Mea) of Garson, Léo (wife Cécile) of Markstay, Louis (wife Marie) of Joliette, Québec, Georgette Richer (late Oscar) of Hanmer, Angeline Brideau (late Fabien) and Gracia Doiron (late Paul) both of Sudbury and Thérèse Carrière (husband Lionel) of Edmonton. Predeceased by her brothers, Royal, Emile (wife Diana of Sudbury) and Paul (late Jeannette). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Irène was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 564 and a member of the War Pensioners of Canada. Family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion and the War Pensioners will be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
