Obituary of Howard-James Dempsey

Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, May 30, 2003 in his seventy-sixth year. Loving husband of Violet (Vi) (nee Walsh) of Newcastle. Dear father of Brian and his wife Vivian of Calgary, Keith of Newcastle, Leila (Lee) and her husband Bruno Tucci of Mississauga, and Barry of Toronto. Sadly missed by grandchildren Lisa, Nicole, and Steven. Brother of Geraldine and her late husband Gordon Reid of Vancouver, Noreen and her husband William McCurdie of Georgetown, Phyllis and her husband Gerald Doyle of Montreal, and Marlene and her late husband Russell Street of Mississauga. Also missed by his special buddies Gizmo, Jade, and Misty. Friends may call at the Newcastle Funeral Home, 386 Mill St. S. (exit 440, just north of 401 at the lights - 1-877-987-3964) on Sunday, June 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 214 King Ave., E., Newcastle, on Monday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. If so desired, donations to the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund in Howard's memory would be appreciated by his family.
