ANDREWS, Harry John – Of Welland, peacefully, with his family by his bedside, at the Welland County General Hospital, on Sunday, October 21, 2007, in his 67th year. Cherished husband, for 46 years, to Sandra Andrews. Beloved father of Harry David Andrews (Susan) of Fenwick and Steven Andrews (Theresa) of Welland. Loving grandfather of Sarah, Phillip and Mackenzie. Loved brother of Mary Forand (Doug Andrews), Prudy Katch (Ted) and Susan O'Neill (David), all of Welland. Dear brother-in-law of Dawna & Tom McArthur, Heather & George Colquhoun, Jim & Dianne Ewart and Linda & Jerry Hobbs. Also surviving are nieces & nephews Ted Katch (Pam), Tim Katch (Susan), Tammy Hodgkins (Kevin), Trevor Katch (Kim), Aaron O'Neill, Ashley O'Neill, Kim Wylde, Cindy & Greg Davidson, Karen & Kenny Colquhoun, Rhonda & Lindsey Ewart, Maryanne, Patricia & Clayton Hobbs; great nieces & nephews Lauren Ward (Seth), Joscelyn Katch, Timmy, Shannon & Travis Katch, Kevin & Kayla Hodgkins, Katie & Nathan Katch and Hannah Davidson and special friends Alex & Pat Morton and Victor & Holly Dirksen. Predeceased by parents Harry Edward & Lottie Andrews, his sister Jane Andrews (Feb. 2007) and brother-in- law Harold Forand. Born in Welland, Harry remained a lifelong resident of the city. He was employed for 34 years as a lab technician with General Motors, retiring in 1996. Harry had a great love of cars, especially Mustangs and T-Birds, which as a hobby he restored. For years he was a regular participant of “Friday Night Cruise Night” at the Seaway Mall and was a member of both the Mustang & T-Bird Clubs. Friends are invited to visit the family at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, October 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Reverend Dan Bennett of Holy Trinity Anglican will conduct the funeral service in the Cudney Chapel on Wednesday, October 24th at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.
