Obituary of Harriet-Ethel Dawson

Harriet Ethel Colebrook (nee Dawson), Maple Ridge 1920-2009 Ethel passed away peacefully in Maple Ridge, B.C., August 27, 2009, with family by her side. She was born in Crapaud, P.E.I., to parents Percy and Stuart Dawson. She spent her childhood and early years on the Island before moving to Ottawa and then Vancouver. She married in Vancouver and raised her four children in B.C. and Alberta. She is predeceased by her husband, John, her parents and her three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Ann, Carolyn (Paul), John (Brenda) and Scott (Shelley), as well as nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews in P.E.I., N.S. and Alberta. P.E.I. always had a special place in Ethel’s heart.
