Obituary of Gary-Richard Salter

SALTER, Gary Richard 2008-10-09 Mr. Gary Richard Salter, aged 56 years, a resident of Thunder Bay passed away suddenly on October 6, 2008. Gary was born in Winnipeg and moved to Thunder Bay eight years later with his family. Gary enjoyed playing guitar and music. He was a loyal Habs fan and enjoyed writing his poetry. Gary will be sadly missed by sons Patrick (fiancé Kim) and Christopher; grandson Andrew and granddaughter Kyra, his mother Geraldine and father Orville; brothers Ron (Pat) and Ray (girlfriend Cathy); sister Shelley (Robert); nieces Dawn, Michelle and Karly as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Gary was predeceased by his son Andrew. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date.
