Obituary of Francoise St-Jean

FRANÇOISE PRONOVOST (Nee St-Jean) 1949-2003 The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Sudbury Memorial Hospital in Sudbury, Ontario on Monday, September 1, 2003 at the age of 54 years. Loving wife of Ronald Pronovost of Timmins and dear mother of Marc Pronovost (wife Carole) and Natalie Allen (husband Steve) all of Sudbury. Grandmother of Rylin & Braden Allen and Ryan Pronovost. Daughter of Yollande St-Jean of Timmins and the late Maurice St-Jean. Dear sister of Marcel St-Jean (wife Pierrette) and Diane Costigan (husband Michael) all of Timmins. Sister-in-law of Claude Pronovost (wife Colette), Réjeanne Dallaire (husband Henri) all of Timmins, Normand Pronovost (wife Carmen) of Sudbury, Marcel Pronovost (wife Jacqueline) of Val des Monts, P.Q., Richard Pronovost (wife Gisèle) of Barrie, Ont., Pierrette St-Jean (husband Marcel) of Timmins, Murielle Pronovost (friend Claude Dionne) of Timmins, Luc Pronovost (wife Chris), Serge Pronovost (wife Cathy) and Jocelyne Steward (husband Gerard) all of Timmins. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Daughter-in-law of the late Paul and Magella Pronovost. Françoise was born on June 29, 1949 in Timmins and has resided here all her life. She was an active member of Abundant Grace Ministries. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2003 in the chapel of the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Pastor Ernie Turcotte officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
