Obituary of Fidele Allain


Fidèle Allain SHEDIAC, NB - Fidèle Allain, 87, husband of Cécile (Cormier) Allain of Shediac and formerly of Notre-Dame de Kent, passed away at the Dr. GeorgesL. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 after a lengthy illness. Born in Saint-Antoine de Kent, NB, on March 18, 1918, he was the son of the late Pierre Allain and the late MarieAnne Caissie. He worked as a Black Smith and a Machine Operator. He attended Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame de Kent. Fidèle is survived by his wife Cécile Allain of Shediac; four daughters, Maria Gauvin (Gerald) of Bouctouche, Eva Gauvin (Fernand), Marie-Mai Gauvin (Raymond), Andréa LeBlanc (Edouard) all of Notre-Dame de Kent; two sons, Raymond (Gerrie) of Waltham, Mass, Roméo (Maureen) of Natick, Mass; three brothers, Alcide (Laura) of Moncton, Désiré (Réjeane) of Brampton, Qué, Normand (Jeannette) of Terrebonne, Qué; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by one son, Jean-Robert (2003); three sisters, Medeleine, Sr Eva, Sara; four brothers, Gerard, Antoine, Arsène, and Paul. Resting at Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame de Kent with visitation on Friday, April 29 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame de Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, NotreDame de Kent on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
