Obituary of Fernand St. -Pierre

ST. PIERRE, Fernand (Fern) - Fernand St. Pierre, after living with Alzheimer's disease since 1998, passed away peacefully at Whitby Mental Health Centre on Saturday, March 15th, 2008. Fern was in his 79th year. He will be remembered by his beloved wife, Frances St. Pierre (nee Seed), his children Judy Bell, Teresa and Joe Van Volsen, Tom St. Pierre, and Michelle and Francois Caron. He will be missed by his grandchildren Chris and Mandy Bell, Joey and Amber Van Volsen, Jenn and Kelly Bernier, Michael and Megan Van Volsen, Jessie Arndt and Zack Phillips and his 10 great grandchildren Paxton, Evann, Peyton, Jordan, Hayes, Neely, Jack, Keegan, Reese and Kayla. Fern will also be remembered by his many relatives and friends. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Wednesday, March 19th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
