Obituary of Erik Andersen

ANDERSEN, Erik - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital with his loving wife by his side on Sunday, February 22, 2009 in his 87th year, Erik Andersen, beloved husband of Birthe for 57 years. Erik will be remembered by his sister Anne-Birthe Roe (Bob) of New York, brother Erling Andersen (Kirsten) of Denmark, brother and sister-in-law Andy and Kirsten Fisker of Brantford. A special uncle to Marlene Kennedy (Doug), Thomas Fisker (Sheryl), Johanne Smolarz (Geoff), Robert Roe, Anne Marie Roe, Alexandra, Christopher Roe and Sandra Roe and many relatives in Denmark. Erik was predeceased by his parents Holger and Esther Andersen, his dear daughters Elizabeth (1955) and Esther (1969) and his brother Peter (2007). Erik was a retired Holstein cattle exporter. The family will receive friends at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North on Tuesday 7 - 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 - 3 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. followed by cremation.
