ST-JEAN SAVOIE, Elizabeth Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2005. Elizabeth St-Jean Savoie, beloved wife of Rene Savoie. Cherished mother of Gabrielle and Emilie Savoie. Precious daughter of George and Therese St-Jean. Loved sister of Nancy, Angele and Richard. Admired by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to her mother Therese, Doris and all her friends who have stood by the family's side with unconditional support and love. Many thanks to Montfort Hospital for their tender loving care and support. To Dr. Vince Young and Paul Genest, Elizabeth knew she was in good hands throughout her entire 8 year battle with cancer and that your perseverance, encouraging words and tender care gave her the strength she needed to exceed all expectations. The family will receive condolences at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, on Saturday, April 16, 2005, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30 p.m. No floral gifts please. Donations will be welcomed towards a trust fund for the daughter's education which will be graciously accepted at the memorial service on Saturday.
