Obituary of Elizabeth Summers

SUMMERS, Elizabeth (Betty) - After a long and courageous battle with Cancer passed away Sunday October 26th, 2008, in the presence of loved ones, at the Parisien Manor, in her 90th year. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Hamilton (Ham) Summers. Loving Mother of Sherron Terriah (Vernon), Patricia Monette (Robert), and Robert. Proud grandmother of Dean, Scott, Terry Lynn, and David. Proud great grandmother of Alissandre, Ryan, Emma Elizabeth, Jamie, Daryl, and Alanna. Will be sadly missed by sister-in-law Estella Summers and special friend Hilda. Predeceased by 2 sisters Lena, and Dorthey, 5 brothers Jimmy, Doug, Penner, Willie and Robert. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Resting at MCARTHUR BROS. & MACNEIL FUNERAL HOME 428 Second Street East, 613-932-6300. Family will be in attendance Monday October 27th, 2pm-4pm and 7pm- 9pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Funeral Home, Tuesday October 28th, 1pm, interment to follow St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault.
