Obituary of Elizabeth-Ann Barrette


Betty Marie Barrette, 72, died November 1, 2005. Born in Colchester, Vt. in Fannie Allen Hospital, baptized Elizabeth Ann. Betty had a long career with the U.S. Government working both outside the country and in several states within the nation. She also spent two years with the Peace Corps in the early 1960s. She was currently employed as a Docent with the St. Augustine Historical Society and a volunteer with the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother, George W. Barrette, Jr., three sisters, Peggy B. Alexander and Sister Mary Ellen Barrette of the Sisters of Glen Mary and Shirley R. Barrette, also two nephews, George W. Barrette III and Theodore H. Barrette and a niece Geralynn M. Joseph. Eternity Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
