Obituary of Eleanor-Esther Amy

BOBY, ELEANOR ESTHER AMY Eleanor Esther Amy Boby passed away peacefully at home November 12, 2004 at the age of 105. She will be sadly missed by her son, Robert and his wife, Jean of Moncton, NB, and her daughter in law, Clara of Campbell River, BC, her eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, as well as Pauline and Charles Tramble, her friends, and loving caregivers. She was born in London, England and came to Canada in 1919 with her husband, Jack Morgan Boby. She had a very active life and she was very interested in young people and students, some of whom may remember her from the UNB Library where she worked for 40 years. She was also a member of the Carleton Chapter of the IODE in Fredericton and was known for her love of gardening and books. She was predeceased by her son, John and her husband, Jack Morgan in 1941. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the Sr. Howard Douglas Hall (old Arts Building UNB Campus) on Monday, November 15th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Archdeacon John Sharpe will officiate. Interment will be in the Glasier Cemetery in Lincoln, NB.
