Obituary of Edward Dawson

Edward "Eddie" Dawson 1949-2013 It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Edward "Eddie" Dawson, age 64, of Meadowbrook, NB. Eddie passed away at home on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late Alwin and Joyce (Hawes) Dawson. Eddie was an avid motorcyclist. He biked all over the Maritimes and into Quebec. He started as a young man delivering milk, later worked for Enterprise Fawcett Foundry, and in his later years drove truck for a variety of companies. He was an easy going man who became friends with everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his wife Daphnee, Meadowbrook; daughters; Kerri Dawson (Rob Eberschlag), Toronto, Karen Dawson (Pedro Huerta), Calgary, and Janis Dawson (Dave Miller), Toronto; 5 grandchildren; step-son Philip Howe, Moncton; step-daughter Twyla (Jody) Saulnier, Shediac; 3 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great grandchild; sister Jean (Colin) Wry, Sackville; brother Roy, Sackville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Douglas and Paul; step-son Paul Howe. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Family at Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11 am, Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
