Obituary of Earl-Robert Foss

Earl Robert Foss 1937-2013 Earl Robert Foss of Rothesay, husband of Eileen (Earle) Foss, passed away at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Born at Salmon Creek, NB on March 28, 1937, he was a son of the late Ernest and Violet (Drost) Foss. Earl was a military police officer in Germany for three years and later became a member of the Rothesay Police Force. He subsequently worked as a Correctional Officer, from which he retired. Earl also enjoyed fishing and took great pleasure in gardening. Earl is survived by his sons: Joe (Shelley) of Saint John, NB, Dennis (Jill) of Truro, NS, and stepson Andrew Marr of Alberta; his daughters: Marlo Foss of Prince Edward Island and Leslie Foss of Saint John, NB; siblings: Gordon, Eileen, Marion, Esther, Murray and Roger; grandchildren: Amanda, Peter and Tyler, Matthew and Melissa, Dalton, Braedon, and Carter, Jackson, Rowan and Ria; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Earl was predeceased by brothers: Raymond, Ronald, George, Kenneth and Harold. A celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date.
