Obituary of Dorothy-Mary Noonan

SIGOUIN, Dorothy Mary (nee Noonan) Peacefully, Tuesday February 19, 2008 at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. Beloved wife of the late John R. Sigouin Q.C. Loving mother of Jocelyn (Tom Ozere). Daughter of the late Ann and Frank Noonan and sister of the late Brian Noonan. Dorothy will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Patricia Noonan and sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Victor King and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy grew up in Perth, Ontario and graduated in 1955 from the St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kingston. She then returned to Perth and worked in her father's medical office. In 1964 she moved to Ottawa upon her marriage to John and returned each summer to her beloved Christie Lake cottage. Dorothy will be remembered for her strength, her irreverence and her sense of humour. Special thanks to Dr. Sinclair and all the nurses in the neurosurgery ward for their care and compassion. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to Our Lady of Fatima Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11a.m. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery.
