LUDLOW - Dorothy E. (Welch) Douville, 90, of Ludlow, died Tuesday evening, February 8, 2005 at her home. Born in Ossippe, NH June 29, 1914, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Eldrige) Welch. A communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, she lived in Ludlow for many years and was a manger of the former Homestead Inn of Ludlow. She was the widow of Romeo Douville who died January 16, 2004. Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son, Deanna Martin and her husband Donald of Ludlow, and Ronald Douville and his wife Dolores of Ludlow; 2 sisters, Marybelle Carter of Wilbraham, MA and Evelyn Shannon of Kissimmee, FL. Grandmother of Stephen Bode, Sharon Bode, and Scott Bode, Mark Douville, James Douville, Kevin Douville and Todd Douville. A granddaughter, Marlene Mills, predeceased her. Great-grand-mother of 8. Funeral Saturday February 12, 2005 at 8 a.m. from the Kapinos-Mazur Funeral Home, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Assumption Church East St. Ludlow at 9 a.m. Friends may call Friday 4 -7 p.m. Donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to Baystate Hospice and VNA, P.O.
