Obituary of Donald-Louis-Aurel Nadon


NADON, Donald Louis Aurel Died peacefully at the Rideau Veterans Health Centre. Born June 12, 1930. Son of Aurel and Margaret Nadon. Donald served in the Royal Canadian Regiment from 1950 to 1965 serving bravely during the Korean Conflict. He continued his career as a draftsman in the Public Service. Donald will be sorely missed by his children Wayne (Nicky), Robert, Linda and his grandchildren Brian Nadon, Les MacGillivary and Stacey William; his sisters Arlene (Cliff) of Pembroke and Joyce (Geoff) of Ottawa; his brother Larry (Pauline) of Ottawa and his many nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks are extended to all the staff and volunteers at Rideau Veterans Health Centre for their care and kindness. Special thanks to Jack Conners (husband of Sharon, Don's god-daughter) for his friendship and support to the "big guy". A Service will be held at Rideau Veterans Health Centre, Lupton Hall, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, April 19 at 2 p.m. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery, National Military Cemetery. Please no flowers. In lieu, donations to the Rideau Veterans Health Center would be gratefully appreciated. Donald God bless you and may you rest in peace.
