Obituary of David P. Welch

David Perkins Welch, 68, of Northbridge formerly of Ashland passed away Sunday Dec. 15th, 2013. He was the husband of Judy (Adamick) Welch for 42 years. David grew up in Ridgefield, CT; and was a graduate of the Univ. of Conn. and member of the Zeta Psi Fraternity. He was a resident of Ashland for many years before moving to Northbridge in 2003. Mr. Welch was owner and president of Welch Financial Services in Framingham for many years. He was an executive board member of The 200 Foundation and member of Shining Rock Country Club in Northbridge. An avid sports fan he was a Patriots season ticket holder since 1993. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Heather Welch of Northbridge, and David Welch Jr. and his wife Wendy of Sherborn, and two grandchildren, Douglas and Whitney Welch. A funeral service will be held Friday Dec. 20th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
