Obituary of Dace-David Welch

WELCH, David January 22, 1924 - November 4, 2008 Dace (David) Welch, beloved husband of Lil (Delila) Welch, passed away November 4, 2008 at the Strathmore Hospital at the age of 84 years. Born in Calgary, Dace lived in the Chestermere/Langdon area where he farmed and raised his family. Besides his wife Lil, he will be lovingly remembered by two daughters, Pat (Bert) Pringle and Theresa Welch; as well as nieces and nephews, Joan (Bob) Mackin, Duncan (Cecilie) Flemming, Carolle Kraemer, Brenda (Bob) MacKay, Elna (Jack) Toomer and their families; as well as brother-in-law Jack Flemming. Dace is predeceased by his brother, Dick (Richard) Welch and sisters, Grace Flemming and Katie (Katherine) Kraemer. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Dace's name directly to S.T.A.R.S.
