Obituary of Charles H. Brennan


Hull Charles H. Brennan of Hull, March 7, 2008. Beloved husband of Marion Fahey Brennan of Hull. Former husband of the late Elizabeth (Krall) Brennan. Loving father of Anna-Liza Brennan Harris of Washington, DC and Marie Brennan Niland of Hull. Stepfather of Jane Neveu of Texas, Anna Bradford, Barbara Stanley and Ellen Fahey all of Hull, Mary Lou Gately of Canton and Patricia Vencl of VA. Brother of the late Helen Moynihan. Cherished grandfather of Mary & Christopher Niland and Michael & Elizabeth Harris. Charles is also survived by 13 step grandchildren. Mr. Brennan was a graduate from English High School and a proud Boston College graduate class of 1949. He stayed an active member of the Boston College Alumni Society. He had a passion for public education and served on the School Committee for many years. Mr. Brennan worked for the Commonwealth of Mass. in the department of revenue as an accountant for 30 years, retiring back in 1987. He was a life member of the Knights of Columbus, past president of M.I.A.A. , a member of Point Allerton Assoc. He served many years on the finance committee for the Town Of Hull. A proud W.W.II Navy veteran - PT Boats. An active member of the Hull Yacht Club. Charlie sailed for many years before the war and after became active in the racing committee at Hull Yacht Club. He was also an active member at the Naples Florida Yacht Club. He enjoyed politics and worked on the National Democratic Committee. Charlie loved to be involved with everything. He enjoyed traveling to Florida, he loved children and dogs, but his true love was his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial will be private, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Charles be made to St. Ann's Church Building Fund, P.O.
