Obituary of Catherine-Mary Marks

PASTORE, Catherine Mary (nee Marks) - died August 24, 2006 at her home in Dale City, VA. Catherine taught at Grace Children's Learning Center at Grace United Methodist Church in Manassas, VA. She was preceded in death by her father, John Robert “Jack” Marks. She is survived by her husband, Michael Pastore; her son, Matthew Pastore and his wife Bridget; her daughter, Shannon Pendleton and her husband Bill; her grandson, Zachary Pendleton; her mother, Florence Gertrude Marks; her brother, Robert Marks and his wife Margaret; her sister, Elizabeth Seibel and her husband Gary; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Angie and Maxine Pastore; and two sisters-in-law, Denise Dmytrow and Patricia Rodgers and her husband Gary. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2006 from 6-9 PM at MOUNTCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 12975 Purcell Road, Manassas, VA. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
