Obituary of Carol A. Welch

CHATHAM Carol A. Welch of Chatham, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, April 1st. She was born on September 24, 1938, the only child of Gustav and Eleanor Holmer of Boston. While working in the insurance industry she met her beloved husband of forty-nine years Henry Welch. Her love of flowers developed into owning the House of Flowers for many years in Southborough. In addition, she loved to cook and was working on a cookbook for her children. Carol leaves her husband Henrey and her five children and their spouses; Lianne Nikitas and her husband Peter, Lisa Puleo and her husband Frank, John Welch and Melissa Sicard, Sally Evans and her husband Edward, Mark Welch and his wife Stephanie and her six loved grandchildren; Alexandra Nikitas, L. Peter Nikitas, Jessica Puleo, Brian Puleo, Christopher Welch, and Hedi Evans. Visiting hours will be held in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 87 Crowell Rd., Chatham on Sun. April 5 from 3-6 p.m. Please join her family for a mass of christian burial in Holy Redeemer Church Highland Ave., Chatham, on Mon. April 6 at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
