Obituary of Beatrice-Irene Dawson

FOSTER, Beatrice Irene (nee Dawson) On Saturday, April 12, 2003 at the Kingston General Hospital, in her 77th year, after a long struggle Beatrice peacefully passed away with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, brother Ivan, Merrille, Norman Dawson and her sister Muriel Scott. Loving mother of Carl and Sophia Foster of Sunbury, Nancy and Jim Webb of Kingston, Cathy and Fred Sonneveld of Sunbury, John and Kathy Foster of Gananoque, Lawrence and Annette Foster of Inverary, Geraldine and Charlie Norwood of Westport. Sadly missed by her friend and partner Norman Ritchie. Fondly remembered by her 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Marjorie Throop, brothers Ralph (Louise Dawson), Percy (Betty Dawson), sister-in-law Noreen Dawson. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway 2). Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 16, 2003at 11 a.m. Interment Sandhill Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Glenburnie United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
