Obituary of Barbara A. Welch

BRAINTREE Barbara A. (Collyer) Welch, 73, of Braintree, died December 27, 2008 at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Born in Marblehead and raised in Dorchester, she had lived in Braintree for the past 44 years. Beloved wife of William C. Welch, Sr. Loving mother of William C., Jr. of Braintree, Thomas of Dover, Richard of Rockland and the late Robert Welch. Dear grandmother of Dannielle, Bryan, Kerri, Shauna and Bobby. Sister of Robert Collyer and his wife Joan of Pocasset. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin St., (Rte. 37) Braintree, Tuesday, December 30 at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the funeral home Monday 4-8 p.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
