Obituary of Aurele Allain


Aurèle Allain (2014) Publié le mardi 12 août 2014 Moncton, NB – Aurèle Allain, 65, passed away suddenly at his residence, on Sunday, August 10th, 2014. Born in St-Édouard-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Lionel and Anna (Maillet) Allain. Aurèle was a retired employee with the CN Railway. He served as a member on the Municipal Council of St-Antoine-de-Kent and the St-Antoine Lions Club for many years. He volunteered at the Moncton Food Bank and was also a regular blood donor. Aurèle will be sadly missed by his son, Yves (Réanne) of Fredericton; his brother, Louis Joseph (Jacqueline) of Moncton; his three sisters, Lina Després (late Patrick) of Cocagne, Andréa LeBlanc (Jean-Paul) of Bouctouche, Evelyn Whiffen (late Bob) of St-Édouard-de-Kent; his sister-in-law, Annette of Moncton; his brother-in-law, Albert Robichaud of St-Édouard-de-Kent; also by several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his common-law partner, Dianne Ashe; one brother, Claude; one sister, Anne-Marie. Visitations will be held at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent RC slumber room on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 11 am until time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at the Ste-Anne-de-Kent RC Church on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 12 pm. Reception to follow. Donations to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
