Aurèle Allain SAINT-JOSEPH DE KENT, NB - Aurèle Allain, 85, widowed of Rita (Maillet) Allain of Loop Rd., SaintJoseph de Kent, passed away at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, January 12, 2003 after a lengthy illness. Born in Bouctouche, NB on August 24, 1917, he was the son of the late Généreux Allain and Annie LeBlanc. He was a farmer and a laborer with D.O.T. for approximately 18 years. He attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. He is survived by five daughters, Aurella Richard (Fernand), Marie-Paul LeBlanc (Noël), Marielle Allain (Ronald Babineau), Jeannette Allain (Bernard LeBlanc) all of Bouctouche, Marietta LeBlanc (Roger-Paul) of Moncton; nine sons, Jean-Paul (Rita), Lorenzo (Yvette), Denis (Ginette), Jean-Marie (Debbie) all of Bouctouche, Désiré (Debbie) of SaintAntoine, Gerald (Bernice) of Cocagne, Emile of Manchester, NH, Bertin (Georgina) of Toronto, Laurie (Lorette) of Edmonton, Alberta; two sisters, Florine Bastarache, of Shédiac, Elsie Nowlan of Salem, Mass; one brother, Gerard of Bouctouche; 32 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita (Maillet) Allain, (1992); one son, Roméo (1992); six brothers, Pius, Fred, Edgar, Alyre, Oscar and Joseph. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche, NB with visiting hours on Tuesday, January 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Remains placed in Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
