Obituary of Arthur St. -Jean

ST. JEAN, Arthur At the CHVO de Hull on Easter morning, Sunday, April 11, 2004 in his 82nd year after a painful battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Marcelle St. Amour. Loving father of Michele (Brian O'Connor), Susie (Dave Oslund), Lise and Danny (Mary Coyle). Cherished grand-papa of Jody, Tahlia, Kaylah, Meagan, Kirsten and Gabrielle. Dear brother of Jeanne. Son of the late Napoleon St. Jean and Amanda Gauthier. Predeceased by siblings Paul, George, Nancy, Lawrence, Simone, Hector, Adelard, Aline, Valmore, Rose, Ernie and Lucille. Art was the postmaster of Low, PQ for 30 years and the village grocer for 47 years. A life member of the Lions Club as well as the Royal Canadian Legion. As per Art's wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at St Martin Roman Catholic Church, Martindale. PQ on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 1 p.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Gatineau Memorial Hospital would be appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen
