Obituary of Archie-Joseph Narduzzi

NARDUZZI, Archie Joseph - In loving memory of Archie Joseph Narduzzi, 89 years, formerly of Copper Cliff, who passed away Wednesday, February 26th, 2008 at Extendicare York. Archie was born in Creighton Mine. Archie had worked in the family business Narduzzi Groceries for many years and then worked at Cochrane- Dunlop Store for 25 years until his retirement. A devout Roman Catholic, he faithfully said the Rosary having a special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Mary and Jesus. In younger years, he enjoyed badminton and bowling. A skilled “Mr. Fix-It“ he was quick to help with repair projects. He was a well known CB radio operator with the handle “Music Man“ reflecting his love of all kinds of music. He was a life member of the Copper Cliff Italian Club. Archie will be remembered as a well liked and compassionate person always smiling and willing to help others. The family expresses their appreciation to the 3rd Floor Staff at Extendicare-York especially his nurse and dedicated caregiver Linda for their excellent care, compassion and support. Loving son of Giuseppe and Luigia (Bin) Narduzzi both predeceased. Dear brother of Elsa Narduzzi of Sudbury, Fedora Favot (Angelo) and Elba Negusanti (Toredo) all predeceased. Beloved uncle of Gary Favot (wife Jane), Mario Negusanti (Glenda), John Negusanti (Patti-Anne) and Lynn Colville; great uncle of Jay (Kerry), Tim (Andrea) Favot, Josh, Kathleen, Alanna, Travis and Tanner Negusanti and great-great uncle of Andrew Joseph Favot. Funeral Prayers in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury, Thursday, February 28th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery.
