NEWCOMBE, William J. (Bill)Imperial Oil (Retired)After a brave struggle in hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Faye Moffatt-Newcombe and the late Helen (nee Black). Loving and devoted father of John. Adored step-father of Anne (Michael Cox), Tom (Beverly), Paula (Mike Fletcher), Lynne, and Peter (Nikki). Bill will be sadly missed by many step-grandchildren, friends, neighbours, hockey teammates, fellow fiddle players and lawn bowlers. Predeceased by his brothers Walter and Reginald. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) on Wednesday, July 25 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 26 at 11:30 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at the Maitland Cemetery, Goderich, Ontario on Saturday, July 28. For those wishing to continue Bill's legacy of love and caring for others, donations may be made to Roger's House.
