William "Bill" Morris BonnerTUSCALOOSA | William "Bill" Morris Bonner, age 87, of Tuscaloosa, died February 5, 2015, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Dr. Curtis Kelley officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.He was preceded in death by his parents, William Morris Bonner, Sr. and Grethal Holland Bonner.He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Ann Spencer Bonner; his son, Curtis Spencer Bonner (Sherry); his brother, Charles William Bonner, and his grandson, William Trevor Bonner.Bill served in the Navy during WWII in the Philippines. He also retired from The Tuscaloosa News as the Director of Advertising after 41 years of employment.Honorary pallbearers are Margaret Spinks Hannah, Gene and Cherry Boswell, Employees of Forest Manor Nursing Home, Employees of Southern Care Hospice, and Employees of Hamrick Highland Assisted Living Facility.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Southern Care Hospice, 3835 Watermelon Road, Suite 3, Northport, AL 35473; or Taylorville Baptist Church, 7201 Moundville Lane, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405.
