->LANCASTER - William F. Driscoll of Lancaster died Aug. 1, 2012, in Fayetteville, N.C., at the age of 92. William was born Sept. 8, 1919, in Worcester, Mass., to the late Frank and Sadie Driscoll. Mr. Driscoll served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II, and in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Driscoll, and a brother, Robert Driscoll, both of Lancaster. He is survived by a brother, Edward Driscoll of Lancaster; and a sister, Marjorie McCormack of Groveton. His wife of 62 years, Betty C. Driscoll of Lancaster, died Aug. 18, 2012, in Fayetteville, N.C., at the age of 88. Mrs. Driscoll was born June 26, 1924, and was raised in St. Johnsbury, Vt., by the late Harold and Persis Coakley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carlyle, of St. Johnsbury, Vt. She is survived by a brother, Harold Coakley, of St. Johnsbury, Vt. They were both members of All Saints Catholic Church in Lancaster. The Driscolls are survived by their two sons: Martin Driscoll, his wife Helen, and their sons, Tyler and Evan of Lancaster; and Dennis Driscoll, his wife, Valerie, of Fayetteville, N.C., and their children, Kenneth, Sara, Jessica and Katherine. . services:Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church.
