GANNON William B. Gannon, 76, of Neptune Beach, passed away June 28, 2010. He was born July 28, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Rosecrans High School. He proudly served our country in the United Stares Navy for 4 years. Bill was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and dedicated most of his life to teaching and coaching in the Catholic School system in Jacksonville. He also spent many years in sales and management. He loved to golf and worked as a volunteer Marshall for Queens Harbor. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lilia; son, Michael; grandsons, Lake and Bay; sister, Sondra Sharpe; and brothers, Dennis Gannon, Tom Curtis and Robert Curtis. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1st in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home. A Prayer Vigil will be held at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 2nd in St. Paul's Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Kallukalam as Celebrant. Interment will follow in H. Warren Smith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J.
