<!-- FH = Day Funeral Home -->Wilbur Lee ClairWilbur Lee Clair, 84, of Springfield, Missouri the son of Ralph and Pearl (Dudley) Clair was born December 6, 1926 in Niangua, Missouri and departed this life May 3, 2011. He was united in marriage to Leona Lapeer February 28, 1947; three children were born to the union. Wilbur proudly served his country in World War II. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Hurbert, Jack and Bernie Clair; and sisters, Bood Sallinger, Faye Sallinger, Ann Lucas, and Cleta Reese.Wilbur is survived by his wife, Leona of the home; children, Diana Kilburn of Springfield, Gary Clair and wife Geraldline of Springfield, David Clair and wife Lavina of Aurora; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one sister, Joan Hiley, the state of Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will cherish our memories forever.Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday May 6, 2011 at Day Funeral Home Marshfield with Rev. Jack Day officiating. Burial will follow in Black Oak Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 5th in the funeral home Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Webster County Veterans Memorial Team.
