BECKER, William "Bill" 78, of Brandon, passed away Friday, July 3, 2009, at his home under Hospice Care. He was born in Quincy, IL. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was elected as the Police Magistrate in Chillicothe, IL. He was Vice President for The Flyer Publishing Company. He also volunteered countless hours to Path-Pupils Ask Teachers Help and Florida Local Advocacy Council. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sherri; children, Robert of Florida, Amy of Florida and Bruce (Jamie) of NC; grandchildren, Kaylee, Ariel, Max and Elliot; brother, Sam of Iowa; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by sisters, Mary, Zel and Esther. A memorial service will be held Aug. 2nd, 11 am at Congregation Beth Shalom, Brandon.
