ABBOTT, Vernon (Bud)WWII Veteran, RAFIt is with great sadness that we announce his peaceful passing on May 1, 2016 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his first wife, Jeannette Trudeau Abbott and by his second wife Anita Gagnon Abbott. Survived by his sister Iris Bevan (late John) from Britain; his stepchildren : Nicole Gour (Daniel), Sylvie Boisvenu (Guy), Jacques Charron (Doris) and Louise Robinson (Richard) as well as his 11 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. He also leaves his life companion of the last six years Claire Vadeboncoeur and his good friend Louise Vadeboncoeur. The celebration of his life will be held at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L''OUTAOUAIS, at 95, Cité- des-Jeunes Bvld, in Gatineau (Hull sector), on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. The family will receive condolences as of 1:30 p.m. For those who wish to do so, donations to La maison Mathieu Froment- Savoie would be appreciated.
