COBURN, THOMAS "TOM", age 59, of Maitland, passed away Friday, April 22, 2005 at his Maitland home. He was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed. Born May 8, 1945 in New Haven, CT he moved to Florida 55 years ago from New Haven, CT. Mr. Coburn was a teacher at Jones High School and Catholic by faith. Tom is survived by his wife of two years, Nancy; son, Scott Goodwin, Gainesville; daughters, Darcie Coburn, Lake Worth, Ashley Coburn, Colorado Springs, CO, Katie Goodwin, Gainesville; parents, Leonard and Catherine (Civitello) Coburn, Lake Worth; brothers, Mike Coburn, Mark Coburn, David Coburn, all of Lake Worth; sisters, Barbara Upson, Lake Worth, and Pat Heinerikson, Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Alyssa White, Jordan White. A Funeral Mass for Mr. Coburn will be celebrated at 2PM, Tuesday, April 26, 2005 from the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Winter Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
