WEBSTER Susan Webster passed away suddenly at her home February 19, 2005. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Charlevoix, Michigan. A long time resident of south Florida, Sue established a home on Black Creek in Middleburg, Florida with her husband, the late Capt. C.S. “Bud” Webster. Eventually Sue moved to Jacksonville and even though she professed a fear of heights, she thoroghly enjoyed her 15th floor view at the Riverside Presbyterian independent residences in dowtntown Jacksonville. Sue was good and honorable, a loving, caring, serious soul, with a sense of the whimsical. She loved to laugh and had beautiful eyes. She is an empowering mother. Mom loved art, music, community and social events, the water and wading birds. Above all, she loved family, her many friends and neighbors. She touched many lives. Her influence and presence is timeless. Susan Webster is survived by her daughter Wendy, son Mike, sister Sally, grandchildren Jeff and Kate, great grandch ild Evan and large orange cat “Pumkin.” Memorial services and celebration of Susan M. Webster and life will be conducted on March 19, 2005, 10 a.m. at Unity Christian Church, 634 Lomax Street, Jacksonville, Florida, 32204. ETERNITY FUNERAL HOME in care of arrangements.
