SHEPPARD Susan Anne Sheppard 1940 - 2008 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Susan Sheppard (nee Emmerson) at age 67, on July 30th, 2008, after a courageous battle with her illness. She was predeceased by her daughter Lori in 2005 and leaves behind her husband Paul; daughter Kerry (David); granddaughters Sherisse, Chandelle, Shelly; great-grandson Kristopher and so, so many wonderful friends that she gathered close to her during her life. While they lived in Coquitlam, Susan spent many years as a nurse at Royal Columbian and Eagle Ridge Hospital where she made many of her dear friends. Retirement years were spent in Kelowna and settling back in Okanagan Falls where she was raised. She loved to travel, entertain and was an active member of the Women's Institute and the Okanagan Falls United Church. Above all, she was the best Mom to both Kerry and Lori. Mom, we always knew you were there for us and my only comfort is that you and Lori are together again. A celebration of Susan's life will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 2:00 P.M. in Okanagan Falls at the OK Falls United Church, with a reception to follow.
