McMILLAN, Steven Archie 1962 - 2009 After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Steven passed away peacefully in his 47th year, with his family by his side, at the Renfrew Hospice on Friday, June 5, 2009. Beloved husband and best friend of Donna MacKay (Beachburg, Ont.). Proud father of Glennda Thompson (Roy), Fredericton, N.B., Stephen Racine (Christina), Chapeau, Que. and Troy Hudson, Saskatoon, Sask. Poppa of 9 grandchildren, (Liam, Chase, Quinton, Russell, Linden, Keegan, Kaden, Issac and Sophie). Brother of Bryon, Pembroke, Ont., Nancy Scott (Eddy), Quyon, Que., Bruce, Pembroke, Ont. and Ron (Christine), Pembroke, Ont. Son of the late Archie and Mary McMillan. Steven will be deeply missed by the MacKay and the McMillan families and will be fondly remembered by his many extended family, friends and neighbours. Funeral was held at St. Andrews United Church in Beachburg on Monday, June 8, 2009. Cremation followed. Thanks to the dedicated staff at the Renfrew Hospice for their compassionate care for both Steven and his family.
