VALLEY, (Gertrude) Shirley Annie (nee Adams) - It is with sorrow that we announce the passing away peacefully of Gertrude Annie Valley (age 81) Saturday September 13th, 2008 at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Valley, loving mother of Sandra, Rock, (Debbie) , Lorne and Lester. Cherished grandmother of Tanya (predeceased), Dylan, Michael and Joshua. Great grandmother of Hayden. A longtime resident of our community, she will truly be missed by numerous friends and relatives. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Grace Christian Centre Saturday September 20th at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Glenn Forest officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services. 11241259
