<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Sarah "Frances" Eidson McGee AIKEN, SC - Sarah "Frances" Eidson McGee, age 92, of Aiken, S. C., wife of the late Marvin McGee and daughter of the late Arthur Eidson and the late Sally Padgett Eidson, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She is survived by daughters, Sandra (Robert) McGee Taylor of Leesville, S.C., Sally (Tom) McGee Frazier of Aiken, S.C.and Vonnie (Dana) McGee Jackson of Edgefield, S.C.; a son, Marvin Ronald (Edna) McGee of Chesapeake, VA.; a daughter-in-law, Martha McGee of Beech Island, S.C.; 15 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Roger McGee, a grandson, Kevin McGee, a sister, Merleen Scott Key and a great-grandson. She was born in Saluda County, S.C. but has spent most of her life in Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Riegel Textile Plant in Johnston, S.C. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse, where she was an active member of the WMU and taught the Ladies' Adult Sunday School Class for many years. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 92 precious years that God granted her on this earth. She was a faithful servant, who has finished life's journey and is now at peace with her Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. Well done, thou good and faithful servant! A service, celebrating her life and home going, will be held at the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse in Vaucluse, S.C. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Dr. Harold E. Herd officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at Aiken Memorial Park in Aiken, S.C. Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Vaucluse, One Church St., Aiken, S. C. 29801.
